You may have noticed that we've entered our final wave of dice sets. We decided before this campaign started that we wanted to limit how many sets we would create for this Kickstarter. We then broke the sets into waves to ensure that we'd be able to complete fulfillment in a reasonable time frame without sacrificing our high quality standards. We've structured the waves to allow room for backers to add dice sets on through backerkit and have those sets ship with their original pledge wave!

We’re still very much mid-campaign and are only $3,500 away from unlocking dice bags for you guys!
We want to welcome all the new backers who have joined us in the past few days, each and every one of you is appreciated and helping make this Kickstarter so much more than we ever really thought possible.
Right now we’re currently working on getting more samples of what the coins AND bags will look like in real life. As soon as we have something that we think is absolutely FANTASTIC we’ll share pictures with all you wonderful backers.
However! We know that isn’t much of an “update” so we thought we’d share something we’ve had quite a few requests on as well (and we can never pass up an opportunity to show off our dice). Two of our dice sets are very visually similar depending on the lighting, and sometimes you just NEED a side by side comparison.

When we first did prototyping, we almost dropped one of these sets because of the similarity between them but we couldn’t decide which we liked best. The difference is subtle but you can see it in this video and the pictures. Andromeda is a deep purple paired up with a light teal whereas Calypso is a ruby red matched with an ocean blue. We hope that you all love them as much as we do! As another fun fact, just like we couldn’t decide which of these dice we liked best, we also couldn’t land on the perfect name for these sets either. We reached out to the goblin dice hoard on Facebook for help and they landed on these amazing names.

Look at that! We’ve passed $100k and unlocked a free coin for all backers! We’re seriously so excited about them and we really hope you will be too.
Our next goal unlocks at $125k and it completely blows our mind that we’re even contemplating hitting a goal this high. We’ve been hard at work designing what should be a really cool bag for all of you wonderful backers.
Black velvet exterior with a silver satin interior and silver stitching. This elegant dice bag features a round bottom and measures 10 cm diameter by 15 cm tall.
Now of course this is a dice bag, but we feel it has a wider variety of applications. For instance, you could use it to store your rare and valuable collection of vintage marbles, keeping them away from prying eyes and would-be marble thieves. In a pinch it could be used as a way to keep your hands warm in the frigid winter weather of the north...probably with a -2 on dexterity throws. On second thought, while a bag is always a useful addition to any adventurer's gear, these ones should be used to keep your dice snug and warm.
A Tale of Two Burgers
We know we’ve alluded to this but we feel like there should be a bit more of a spotlight on a member of our team, without whom, we don’t feel we ever could have gotten this thing off the ground. That team member is our ever faithful (though sometimes drooly) dice guardian, Cheeseburger. We’ve spent many days working from dawn to dusk and the only thing keeping us going is Cheeseburger by our side giving us the motivation we need to keep going.
But being a Dice Guardian is hard work and even HE needs a bit of help sometimes! So with that in mind, this past weekend we embarked on a quest to find the second Dice Guardian to add to our little adventuring party. In our journey we traveled many leagues and through treacherous mountain passes but in the end we found what we sought.
With that we’d like to introduce our little (for now) Leonberger pup Peach!
Now she’s only level 1 but we’re certain that with a little time and guidance from her older brother, she’ll be a valiant and formidable dice guardian as well.
But really folks, we spent 20+ hours driving this weekend to pick her up and it’s partly why this update is a little later than we would have liked but we’re so excited we had to share it with everyone!
Again we can’t express how thankful we are to each and every one of you for helping make our dream a reality and we hope you’ll love these dice as much as we do.

$85k came and went! Now every backer will receive not one but TWO spiffy holographic Dicebound stickers!
Put them anywhere that you think could use a bit more sparkle, like your water bottle, on your computer, your DM screen, car, or glasses! (Disclaimer: do not put Dicebound stickers on your glasses, this would prevent your from seeing, seeing is wonderful and needed to fully enjoy your dice)
Our next goal coming up is a really neat one! We thought long and hard about something that would really cool for our backers to have and our heads landed on a coin (that’s how it works right?). At $100k this beauty will be unlocked and every backer will get one for free!
Now please keep in mind, this is just a mock up and we’re working hard to get some samples which we’ll share as soon as we’re able. But look at that! Isn't it pretty? We sure think so and hope that all of you lovely backers will keep sharing this project and talking about it so we can make this a reality!
